Congratulations to Chih-Shen Cheng, Ph.D. Candidate and CIBER Lab researcher, on taking top honors at the 10th annual Texas A&M Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition. Chih-Shen placed first in the doctoral division and the overall competition for his presentation on "artificial intelligence and drones for disaster rercovery". »

Md Nazmus Sakib Defends Ph.D. Dissertation

Md Nazmus Sakib, Ph.D. student and CIBER Lab researcher, successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on "exploring the role of artificial intelligence and technology in workforce skilling". Sakib will officially graduate with a Ph.D. degree in summer 2022.

Urban.AI Lab Launches at CIR

We are happy to debut the Artificial Intelligence and Built Environment Lab (Urban.AI Lab) at the Center for Infrastructure Renewal (CIR). In collaboration with other researchers at the CIR, the Urban.AI Lab will focus on advancing the interface between AI, human life, and the built environment. »
