Howdy!

Welcome to my first real website!  My name is Jamison Hoelscher, and I am an "Idunno" major, also known as General Studies.  But most importantly, I am the proudest member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2009!  A-A-A-A-AAAAAAAA!

Alright, so I may not really be the proudest member of the class of 2009, but I love the traditions at A&M and can't wait to whoop.  I like attending Midnight Yell, Aggie football games (as well as other Aggie sporting events), Silver Taps, Muster, and hope to become a Fish Camp counselor next year so I can brainwash others to our cause, MUAHAHA!  LOL.

The most important thing in my life is my relationship with Christ.  I used to think that it was childish, and that those people just need to grow up.  I associated Christianity with a belief in Santa Claus.  But now, I have matured as a Christian and have come to discover how real a relationship with Jesus is!  If you have never felt the joy that can't be explained any other way, then I hope you will pursue a relationship with Him just as you would with any other close friend.  If you have never received Jesus Christ's free gift of salvation before and want to know how, click HERE.  If you have already done that, I encourage you to read the Bible, and get involved with a fellowship of other believers.  I am involved with AMCF (A&M Christian Fellowship) but there are many other great groups on campus as well.  Another thing is to be plugged into a church whose teachings are Biblically based.  I know there are a lot of good churches around College Station so I am not going to promote any one over another.  I am involved with Fellowship Church, but Grace Bible and Central Baptist (their Youth website) are also good Christian churches in the Bryan/College Station area.  On Tuesday nights, I attend Breakaway, which I highly recommend for everyone.  It is almost always held in Reed Arena on Tuesday nights at 9:00 p.m.  For iTunes users, they also have free podcasts to download.  I also attend Tomball Bible Church when I go back home, and I am involved with many ministries there as well (such as Angel Food and mission trips, see below).

As a Christian, I also participate in mission trips as much as I can.  For the past two summers, I have been blessed to be able to join a team from the church in my home town to plant churches around the town of Mbale in Uganda, Africa.  For pictures and more information about my trips, click HERE.  I have set up a map of all of the churches that have been planted by Morris Ogenga (the pastor that we work with in Uganda).  You can check that out HERE.  The teams that went on the short-term missionary trips to Uganda noticed the need for a place to take care of the children in Uganda that have been orphaned due to AIDS.  Thus, Grace International Children's Foundation (GICF) was created to meet that need.  GICF is currently running and operating Lulwanda Children's Home with 45 children now under their care.  For more information, go check out www.UgandaOrphans.org.  As I also mentioned above, I am also involved in Angel Food Ministries through Tomball Bible Church.  I would like to try to get the ministry up here in College Station, but for that we will need a refrigerated truck.  If you just happen to have one at your disposal that you will allow to be used once a month for this ministry, please email me at aerodart@neo.tamu.edu.  To get more of idea about Angel Food, you can watch this promotional video.

Some of my hobbies include making movies and morphing pictures.  To see some of the media I have a page set up for that HERE.  My friends, brother, and I created Angree Headjhawg Produckshuns way back in year 2001 A.D. and have been making movies with them ever since.  Unfortunately, the first movie was lost, and I can't show you it, but it was really awesome.

I also like to write.  I currently have a novel that is available for you to read.  The title of the book is Theophilus and the Quest for the Lost Souls.  Click the link HERE to read it.  It is in the Adobe PDF format, so in order to view the page, you must have the Adobe Reader.  You can download the Adobe Reader (which you practically need anyways for other things) HERE.  The story is Biblical fiction/fantasy/war/romance/comedy.  I wrote it in 10th grade, LOL.  I still consider it my greatest writing.
