I am a senior Horticulture Science major at Texas A&M University with an emphasis in Science and Biotechnology. My appreciation of our environment combined with a love of science and an intense curiosity level, has lead to my aspiration to work in the research industry. Even as a student with an undeclared major at a community college, I was taking sciences like, chemistry and biology for personal enjoyment. I have a wide array of interests when it comes to research, and have focused more on professions such as plant breeding, crop improvement and seed technology. Most recently, I have found an interest in research conducted in the greenhouse production industry. We’ll see where it takes me next!
