PERSONAL

I am married to Patricia and have two children, Dana and Nathaniel. Patricia is retired from public school teaching. Dana holds a PhD in psychology from UNC-Chapel Hill and is currently a faculty at the University of Florida. Nathaniel is an attorney currently working as an ADA for Brazos County.

I have seven grandchildren. On my son's side, I have four. My first grandson (also named Nathaniel) was born on September 24, 2007. My first granddaughter Rebecca Joy was born on May 11, 2011. She’s beautiful! A second granddaughter Abigail Grace was born on February 4, 2013. She is also beautiful with the deepest blue eyes one could imagine. Finally, my third granddaughter Emerson Jane was born on August 20, 2015. She is gorgeous and will be a heart throb one day. My poor son.

On my daughter's side I have three grandsons. Henry Eugene Teaford was born on June 30, 2014. He has blond hair and blue eyes, and is quite curious about things and like his mom and dad very intelligent. Robert Houston Teaford was born on March 20, 2016 and is a very handsome child. William St. George was born on July 18, 2018 and looks to be cut from the same mold as his two brothers.

My sister, Susie, is a retired legal secretary. She lives near Spring, Texas and visits regularly.

My primary hobby is gardening. I have a 36 vine grape vineyard at the front of my property. I grow lots of other stuff, including fruit trees, vegetables, roses, and flower borders. My passion for gardening also extends to related things, such as beekeeping and wine making.

My wife and I travel quite a lot. We have traveled extensively in Europe and the United Kingdom. In recent years we have also been to Egypt, China, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador and the Gallapagos, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, Israel, Jordan, Australia, and New Zealand. Next year we will travel to Kenya and Tanzania during the period of the Great Migration.
