Proverbs 12:24

Profile

I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISEN) at Texas A&M University, College Station. Prior to joining Texas A&M University, I completed my B.S. in Mathematics from Abilene Christian University - Abilene, Texas in 2006. Since coming to Texas A&M University, I completed my M.E. in ISEN.

I am broadly interested in economic decision making. Currently I am looking at decision making in distributed non-cooperative systems. Particularly how incentives can be designed through a variety of mechanisms to improve system performance. One of my primary application areas is the design of incentives in health care systems. Other areas where I am doing research include production economics. I am currently working under Dr. Abhi Deshmukh and Dr. Andrew Johnson.

I am an active member of INFORMS, both nationally and locally in the Texas A&M University Student Chapter where I served as the President for the year 2009. I am also a member of IIE.
