• Have students conduct an Internet search for information about "organic" agriculture, and compare and contrast organic and industrial agriculture.

• Have students conduct an Internet search of precision agriculture, remote sensing and agriculture, or other technologies that might help solve some of the negative environmental effects of industrial agriculture.
