Investigation 3: Who will feed the world?

Investigation 3, "Who Will Feed the World?" focuses on meeting the food needs of an increasing global population. Students work in groups to investigate population growth and agricultural production in major world regions and consider how developments in technology and monitoring systems will address these concerns in the future. The investigation concludes with an investment challenge in Mozambique. Students work in groups to make recommendations for improving agricultural production in this country.
