Carly K. Peterson

I was born and raised in Madison, WI and graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in May of 2005 with a B.A. in Psychology. I was fortunate enough to work for Eddie Harmon-Jones for a year and a half as an undergraduate. After graduation I continued to work for him for two years as a Research Assistant, but this time in his lab at Texas A&M.
In the fall of 2007 I started my tenure as a graduate student in Clinical Psychology, with Eddie as my advisor. My research interests include motivation and emotion, particularly in the areas of anger and aggression, and I use a multitude of psychophysiological, behavioral, and self-report measures in my research.
In addition to my work in the lab, I also see clients in the clinic, work in the clinic office, and teach Psych 203. During the summer I also participate in a project at the Public Policy Research Institute examining mental health crisis services in the state of Texas.
