ABOUT
I am a senior Horticulture here at Texas A&M University, and will graduate in May of 2011. I am from the small town of Farmersville, TX, where, not surprisingly, I live on a farm. We raise mostly hay, cattle, and wheat, and I hope to return one day and transition it into growing ornamental trees and shrubs for landscaping.
While at Texas A&M, I have been heavily involved in the Corps of Cadets ROTC program. I am a member of Company D-2, and also have the privilege of serving as the 2nd Brigade Commander. Additionally, I am also the Executive Officer for the Ross Volunteer Company. Outside of the Corps, I have spent two years as a member of the Aggie Muster Committee.
Upon graduation in May, I have decided to pursue a military contract and will be commissioning as a Field Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army. I plan to spend a little while there, with hopes of transferring into the Civil Affairs branch of the Army and doing nation-building work in developing countries.
Outside of school, I enjoy going hunting with my Dad and playing just about any sport. I love being out in the country and spending time in nature.
