Cigdem V. Sirin,
Lecturer and Research Associate, is a Ph.D. candidate in the
Department of Political Science, Texas A&M University. Her
areas of interest are international relations and comparative
politics, specializing in ethnic conflict, political psychology,
military interventions, foreign policy decision making, and
experimentation.
In her dissertation, she
examines the dynamics of public support for military
interventions as a function of political sophistication levels
and intervention stages using a multi-method approach that
brings together formal modeling, experimentation, and statistical
analysis.
