NAR is a reading and discussion group that has been meeting
regularly for 40 years to discuss books covering a wide range of
disciplines. Our historian, Alex McIntosh has drafted a brief History
of the NAR that describes the formation and development of the
group. The current list of Past Books
Read by the NAR gives a good sense of the range of the
group's interests (also arranged by author).
Messages to the NAR mailing list are stored in the NARchives
and are available to subscribers.
