The consequences and collateral damage of disturbance

Here I am holding a Green Iguana (Iguana iguana) in Crocodile Lake National Wildlife Refuge on Key Largo, Florida. Green Iguana's are native to south and central America, this individual is part of an invasive population in south Florida and just one of many invasive species now living alongside natives.

Research Interests:

I generally focus on ecology within the specific sub disciplines of organismal, population, community, and landscape ecology. I like to study lizards, but try to tolerate other reptiles (including birds) and amphibians! I have interests in the synthesis of ecology and conservation and have asked questions related to the ecological consequences of disturbance. Check out my research and publications pages for updates on research projects!
