Indie Lab

The Interactive Data and Immersive Environments (Indie) is a research lab at Texas A&M University led by Dr. Eric Ragan. The lab focuses on human-centered research of interactive visualizations. Our research involves design and evaluation of applications and techniques that support effective interaction and understanding of data, information, and virtual environments. Most research projects involve information visualization, visual analytics, virtual reality, or 3D interaction. The Indie Lab is part of the larger VIZ Human-Computer Interaction Lab (HCI-VIZ).

The Indie Lab includes both undergrad and graduate students from multiple departments.
