Instructions for Windows Version:
- Click here to download interactive implicit modeling programs.
- It is a zipped directory.
- Copy it to anywhere and unzip the directory
- Click any of .exe file and they are supposed to work.
Additional information:
- Use right mouse to see menu
- Use middle mouse to rotate obj for 3D models
- The program Yontsal takes 2D approximate union of convex polygons. Draw convex polygons by choosing new polygons. While drawing convex polygons
be sure that the red dot is inside of convex polygons.
- The program Dif takes an approximate set difference of two convex polygons choosing new polygons. While drawing convex polygons
again be sure that the red dot is inside of convex polygons.
- The program arabir2D is the same as Yontsal but 2D approximate unions are done in 3D. Think each convex polygon as an infinite prism.
- The program interFACES is the real 3D program. Each convex shape is defined as an intersection of two infinite prisms. For each convex shape, you draw two convex polygons. The final star shape is the approximate union of the convex shapes you have created.
- The program mask and mask2 allows you take the set difference or surface intersection & flesh operations over the star shapes (the ones that can be created by interFACES program).
