Short Bio
Akhilesh is interested in working in the field of optimization and contributing to process design. He graduated with a Bachelor's with Honours in Chemical Engineering and a Minor in Energy Engineering from IIT Bombay, India in 2017. As an undergraduate, he worked for a short duration on developing a freeware similar to ASPEN and found his interest in simulation, optimization, and design. He lead a team at Axis Bank as a Manager for the International Business for a year before joining the SOULS research group at Texas A&M University. In his free time, Akhilesh enjoys trekking, reading, and cooking.
