Austin Johnes

Short Bio

Austin joined the group in the Spring of 2021, and his research is jointly advised by Dr. Hasan and Dr. Khan. In the Spring of 2020 he graduated from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. At the University of Minnesota, Austin explored modeling process systems for ammonia synthesis under Professor Qi Zhang. In the Hasan Group, his research explores process systems engineering applications to process safety under transient operations. Outside of academics Austin enjoys cooking, traveling, and playing with his dog Rupert.
