Short Bio

Sadaf is a third year Ph.D. student in Hasan research group at Texas A&M University. He obatined his Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2011. After his graduation, he worked for Chevron as an Operation Engineer for seven years. His undergraduate thesis was to find environmental friendly disposal method of lead (Pb) acid battery waste. His current PhD research involves the development of computational methods for advanced chemical process design and intensification. Process intensification refers to any dramatic improvement in process performance in terms of equipment sizes, waste generation, productivity or other factors. Sadaf is a co-developer of SPICE_MARS, a software prototype for designing membrane-assisted reactive separation processes. He is also a co-inventor of a novel separation process. Beside engineering, he likes traveling and reading.
