Hi, I am a lecturer and a postdoctoral associate at the Department of Aerospace Engineering, the Texas A&M University, College Station, TX. I obtained PhD from the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics at Virginia Tech. I worked with Dr. R. C. Batra in the area of Computational Mechanics during my PhD study.
My research interest lies in the finite element analysis for static, explicit dynamic, impact, and contact problems; damage and delamination of fiber-reinforced polymer composites; fluid-structure interaction problems; microelectromechanical systems; meta-materials for high temperature applications; and smart structures of piezo-electric materials.
