Project Details
- Student Athletic Management System (SAMS):
As a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Athletics at Texas A&M University, I work in tools like Macromedia Dreamweaver, SQL Server Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer for the development and maintenance of ASP pages and for generating several reports using SQL.
- New Underwriting System (NUWS):
As a systems engineer at Tata Consultancy Solutions, I worked for a US-based client (Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation) in Banking and Financial services domain. During this tenure, apart from gaining strong domain knowledge in the finance sector, I had a brilliant opportunity to develop core programming skills in C++ and JAVA. The project also involved data management using mainframes and hence gave me a chance to build hands on experience in both DB2 and in UNIX platform.
- Loan Monitoring System:
The software was built in such a way as to manipulate customer details and loan details such as adding, deleting or modifying existing customer details and loan schemes. It permits the paying of due amount and updates the transactions in the DB2. It also keeps track of defaulters and generates annual report. This project was done with JAVA in the back end and HTML and JSP in the front end.
- Smart Packets with energy-based node selection for On-Demand routing protocols in MANETs:
The aim of the project is to dynamically learn the network topology and updating it from time to time by transmitting smart packets over the network (by selecting an initiator with max energy) and optimize the route cache. It is a software project implemented in GLOMOSIM.
- Light Activated Home Security System:
This project aims at tightening the security with the help of an alarm unit that senses using light dependent resistor.
- Automatic Room Temperature Controller:
This system was realized using microcontroller 8051 for regulating cooling and heating systems with room temperature as the reference.
- Demonstrating Tumourous Region:
The tumourous region from MRI scan image of brain is demonstrated using image segmentation algorithm with the help of MATLAB.
