Hopefully one day I will get my 72 Super Beetle (Click for Pictures)
to look as good
as these. I acquired a Bug
recently. It had not been running in
over a year, due to the fact that it had rear-ended a tractor-trailer. It is really messed up, but it still steers
right and there was no frame damage.
Since it was a big rig all of the damage was high on the body. The engine only needed a little care and it
was running like a dream.
I put a Header and Stinger exhaust on it. For those of you who don’t know what a Stinger is, it is a single tailpipe that comes straight out the middle in the back. It is hollow at first and you buy a fiberglass insert that makes it sound gooood. It is about the most free-flowing system for a Beetle, and that means more horsepower. Future plans include new brakes; possible disc brake conversion up front; a new front end; it will only look good as a Baja Bug; and some tunes.
