Contractors and verifying the same at site; preparing the Project Estimates, Tender Documents, and
Contract Agreements of the Projects/Works; monitoring the E/M installations;
and co-ordinating with audit and other departments.
BRIDGE
ENGINEER
(July 2000 – Nov. 2001) Taisei Corporation, Kohat Tunnel Project, Pakistan.
My responsibilities included supervision of civil works related to 10 bridges in this project; checking quality control of concrete of all types used for the project, planning in advance all the bridge-related activities of the project; overseeing lab test reports of concrete crushing strengths and steel tensile strength; and supervising launching of girders of the bridge from their casting to the final position. and co-ordinating and liaising with other departments and agencies.

responsibilities included checking of bid documents submitted by the
Consultants from a technical perspective; checking of bid evaluation report by
the Engineers; verifying compliance of the Contract Agreement by Contractors
and Engineering Consultants; participating in pre-bid and biding process;
reviewing progress of Contractors and Consultants; and co-ordinating and
liasing with other departments and agencies.
ASSISTANT ENGINEER
(Aug. 1995 – Oct. 1998) Nippon Jogesuido Sekkei Company Ltd., Islamabad, Pakistan .
Major responsibilities included
supervision of civil and mechanical work of the Water Treatment Plant at Sang
Jani; checking and approving shop drawing made by the Contractor; approving Bar
Bending schedule, fixing of reinforcement, formwork calculations and fixing of
site etc.; monitoring the progress of the Contractor and checking compliance of
the time schedule; and participating in the review meeting of the project.
Also, I was responsible to check and approve the installation of Steel, D.I.,
C.I., PVC, and RC pipes ranging from 40 mm to 2000 mm in diameter.
MATERIAL ENGINEER
(Jan. 1994 – Jul. 1995) Kingcrete Builders (Pvt.) Ltd. Rawalpindi, Pakistan
My major responsibilities included
checking quality control of concrete of all types used for the project, control
of slumps at Batching Plant, use of admixture to control the workability of
concrete at low water cement ratio; planning in advance all the concreting
activities of the project; overseeing lab test reports of concrete crushing
strengths and steel tensile strength; and supervising launching of girders of
the bridge from their casting to the final position.
INTERNSHIP

Worked with NESPAK in designing the office building of Crop Sciences
Institute at National Agriculture Research Center (NARC), Islamabad. The same
design was approved and accepted as a final year thesis by the Department of
Civil Engineering, UET, Taxila.

etc.
