I grew up in Huntsville Texas and my father was an Ag Teacher and also taught Horticulture. He did all of his training at Texas A&M University in the Benz School of Floral Design. When I graduated High School I decided that I wanted to do the same thing. I attented a course through the Benz School of Floral Design and my intrest in Horticulture grew.

I soon after joined the United States Air Force as a LVN in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. I spent 4 years in the military and decided I wanted to continue on with my education in Horticulture. I began my basic courses at a community college and then in the Spring of 2006 started at Texas A&M University.

Along with being a full time student I am the mother of a beautiful 3 year old daughter named Grayson. She is my reason for staying in school and finishing my degree.
