BiographyMy research interests are focused on classical and quantum information processing particularly in the areas of error control codes, network coding, algorithms, and information security including their applications in wireless sensor networks and storage systems. I received my PhD in Computer Science from Texas A&M University in January 2008. I worked under the supervision of Dr. Andreas Klappenecker in the School of Engineering. Currently I am seeking a research and academic position. Also, I would like to obtain a post-doctoral or visiting research position (academia page). I received my M.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Cairo University, where I investigated several network security and cryptographic protocols. During a research internship at Bell-Labs & Alcatel-Lucent, I worked on Fountain codes based networked storage algorithms and network coding capacity for wireless and sensor networks (recent papers), (arxiv papers). | |||||||||
