Hidalgo Falls Bathhouse
(completed March 2010)
The bathhouse consists of three separate rooms, each containing a
shower, toilet, and lavatory. Motion sensitive lights illuminate the
exterior and interior of the building. A hot/cold outside sink helps
campers clean their cooking utensils.
The bathhouse is located between the Southwest Paddlesports Outpost
(shown on right) and the main campground.
Frosted windows let light into the bathrooms and still maintain
privacy. An external electrical outlet is on the back wall of the
building.
The shower is in the front half of each of the bathrooms.
Motion sensors control the lights, and thermal insulation cuts down on
the radiant heat on the roof.
The bathhouse is adjacent to the campground and picnic area (shown on
right). The water heater is housed in the small attached extension.
The septic tanks and field are immediately behind the bathhouse.
