About Me [ CV]

I am a Visiting Assistant Professor in Mathematics at Texas A&M University, under the mentorship of Prof. Jianxin Zhou.
I completed my Ph.D. in Mathematics at UCSD in June 2022, under the supervision of Prof. Jiawang Nie.

My research interests primarily lie in optimization. I work in Operations Research, Mathematical Programming (MR 90), with connections to data science and machine learning.
Specifically, my work uses techniques from real algebraic geometry, moment problems and optimization theory.
I am particularly interested in problems related to stochastic optimization, multilevel optimization, equilibrium problems, and tensors.

I'm currently in the job market for a tenure-track or postdoctoral position. This is my research statement up to date of October 2024.

Teaching

I'm teaching MATH 311 in Fall 2024. I am also an instructor in TAMU Math Circle.
