Prospective students

I am an assistant professor in Computer Science and Engineering department at Texas A&M University starting fall 2019. My research is focused on applied cryptography, specifically on verifiable computation, zero-knowledge proofs and privacy-preserving machine learning. My research aims to design efficient cryptographic prtocols that can be realized in practice and used in applications such as cloud computing and blockchain.

I'm looking for self-motivated students. Candidates are expected to have a solid background in computer science. Prior knowledge in math, cryptography, blockchain and machine learning is preferred but not required. Please send me your CV at zhangyp@tamu.edu if you are interested.
