1. One common reason why students take this course is to learn about the impact of media on our society.
2. The structure of students’ list of frequently used media is usually: media -> genre -> specific instances.
3. A challenge that many students face is that it is easy to be addicted to media and be distracted by social media such as TikTok or Instagram.
How I Would Revise My Media Categorization Based On What I Read
After reading through different websites my classmates designed, I gained insights on how I can improve/ add to my list of media. For instance, I would add the kind of devices that I am using to consume media or maybe even categorize my frequently used media by the devices.
