Comments: All three of these papers correctly proved the theorems.  Two of
them used matrix examples which found to be easier to follow.
 
INSTRUCTOR'S COMMENT:  I thought Patrick's paper was closest to being 
logically complete, but it considered only the 2x2 case.  I asked both 
authors to revise.
