Comments:
 
The solutions were well put together.  All the submissions reflected
understanding of the problem and an appropriate use of the chain rule.
A couple of the papers used the jacobian in explaination, an interesting
approach.  The notation for full derivatives and partial derivatives was
the same in many of the solutions.  We chose two papers for publication.
Each one took a different approach.
