Comments: Both submitted solutions are correct. The reviewers have decided
that a joint revision is in order. One solution shows the mathematics for
the proof, and the other solution verbally explains the proof. The joint
revision is requested to have the mathematics from the first solution
mutually support the explanations of the second solution. Excellent work
by both authors.
                                                                                
INSTRUCTOR'S COMMENT:   Both papers could use more work.  (Note, in 
particular, that  x_n -> M  does not mean necessarily that x_n exactly 
equals M eventually.)
