Comments: 4 out of the 5 papers we received were in general excellent.
They seemed to show a good grasp of the concepts involved in analyzing
curves.  The 5th paper was very difficult to understand - it appears as if
that author simply did not have time.  We chose Patrick's paper to be
published as it combined the right amounts of written explanation with
worked out problem steps.
