We choose Amanda's paper since it used more symbols and examples and 
worked things out in more detail.

INSTRUCTOR'S COMMENT:  I'll post both papers since they are complementary 
in certain ways.  In particular, Ashley stressed the key point in part 
(a), which is that the surface must be CLOSED.
