A novel and low-cost glycan analysis platform integrates surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS), boronic acids, and machine learning. This sensor monitors molecular vibrations of glycan-boronic acid complex via SERS, and glycans are classified and quantified with high accuracies using machine learning.
