Homework Submission Guidelines:
Homework = neat, legible, easy to follow, handwritten, individually turned in, on time.
- Homework is
to be placed on the table at the front of
the classroom at the beginning of the lecture. No papers will be
accepted after 10 minutes from the beginning of class. If you turn it
in to my office (Blocker 245E) or e-mail a PDF-version to me (scan all pages to one file), make sure you do it 20 minutes
before the class starts at due date. In these cases please attach
an excused documentation.
- For full credit on the homework, you must show all work and
justify your answers.
Emphasis will be placed on writing carefully and precisely.
- Working together on homework is fine and encouraged, but
each of you should write up your own solutions.
- Work which does NOT meet the following requirements will be returned ungraded.
- Staple the homework pages together. Folded or paper clipped homework will NOT be accepted.
- Do not tear out pages from a spiral notebook; use clean-edged paper.
- Print your full name and the section number at the top right corner.
- Write the page number at the top right corner of each paper in your assignment.
- Do the problems in consecutive order. No more than 3 problems on the same side of the page.
- Show ALL your work. Just writing the answers down is not enough.
- YOUR WORK MUST BE NEAT, EASY TO FOLLOW.
- If
you handwriting is illegible, you will be given a warning, after which
the grader will no longer accept your assignments unless they are
legible.
