My study abroad in Merida Mexico on the Yucatan Peninsula
A program in which we produced a research paper involving the issues both Yucatan and Texas have in common with a formulated solution in resolving the issue.
Researched issues over cost and methods to process the desalination and purification of sargassum using renewable resources for affordable long-term investments.
Partook in evaluating the focus and goal of the research including several analyses of preconstructed data to formulate a combination of methods as a newer more effective solution.

I am currently part of SHPE which is an engineering orginization that allows engineers from hispanic backgrounds to establish connections and participate in regulatory meetings for opportunities in professional settings.

I am a mentor for the Century Scholars Program which is an extension of my Century scholarship to help students from under-represented high schools in guiding them through rigors point in academic and professional areas. Responsibilities included developing lessons, one-on one meetings, presenting and sharing resources found around campus
