Outside of work, I enjoy playing badminton, keeping up with the stock market, and taking on personal coding challenges.
I grew up in Singapore, a vibrant and diverse city known for its rich cultural heritage and forward-thinking innovation. Being surrounded by such a unique blend of traditions and cutting-edge technologies fueled my curiosity and passion for learning from an early age. This formative experience shaped my outlook, instilling in me a good worth ethic and great problem-solving skills.
My journey began at community college, where I was exposed to an incredibly diverse environment. Being surrounded by people from different backgrounds and life experiences helped me grow both personally and academically. Coming from Singapore, I was already accustomed to a melting pot of cultures, but studying in a new environment gave me a fresh perspective on how much cultural diversity can enrich learning and personal development.
After completing my studies at community college, I was fortunate to get into Texas A&M University. The experience allowed me to further deepen my knowledge, especially in technology and finance, while building lasting connections. The blend of academic rigor and exposure to different viewpoints helped me mature and expand my horizons.
Outside of my professional pursuits, I am always up for a challenge. Whether I am solving Rubik cubes (my personal best is 11 seconds), exploring scenic hiking trails in Austin, or spending quality time with my adorable dog, my days are filled with curiosity and joy. I believe that life is about continuously learning, whether it is through coding, nature, or the simple pleasure of a puzzle.
