In this space I will be posting papers regarding the development of intervention-based research (IBR) and examples of its use. For the Journal of Operations Management departmental mission statement please check here. Please forward any questions or comments to roliva@tamu.edu.
When article is not Free Acces, the "PrePub" link provides access to a pre-publication version of the paper.
Papers
These are articles that justify the development of IBR and provide methodological guidelines.
Examples
These are articles that exemplify the use of iBR in different contexts. Note that examples by other authors are listed in Chandrasekaran et al. 2020 and 2023.
Submission Guidelines
This document outlines the expected content, contribution, and emphasis of a submission of a Mode I IBR study -- a study based on action research. This is NOT a template nor a checklist. Proposed headings and structure are presented as one possible way to organize the evidence and the contribution.
