We place an emphasis on the training of students at all levels to produce high quality biogeographic research. We routinely have opportunitiesfor undergraduates and new graduate students to work in the Biogeography Lab. Students are encouraged to become active in all aspects of professional science from conducting independent research to conveying the results of their research to both the scientific community and the communities in which the research is done. The Biogeography Lab has a history of working closely with resource managers and local communities.
