"Ocean of Memories" is an augmented reality experience designed to inspire ocean
conservation by creating a deep emotional connection to marine environments.
Developed in collaboration with Chromic Duo and Texas A&M's School of Performance,
Visualization, and Fine Arts, the project guides users through interactive stations at Aggie Park
using GPS and image tracking, immersing them in digital scenes of marine life, news
articles, and ambient soundscapes. By blending storytelling with real-time events,
the experience highlights the beauty of the ocean while addressing critical environmental
issues like pollution and oil spills, encouraging users to pledge their commitment to
protecting our oceans. The application combines art, technology, and environmental activism
to evoke empathy and responsibility toward the ocean's future, aligning with the
United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 14: Life Below Water.
