    Assessing Safety Preserving Capabilities on Augmented Reality Wearable Devices during Industrial Tasks Performance

    The objective of this study is to evaluate the impact of safety-preserving capabilities of augmented reality (AR) wearable devices during the performance of industrial tasks in hazardous environments through having participants complete several tasks in a simulated cargo ship environment over four sessions with AR assistance.

    ○ Session 1: $20

    ○ Session 2: $25

    ○ Session 3: $30

    ○ Session 4: $45

    • Requirements for Participation:

    ○ Be over the age of 18

    ○ Be fluent in English

    ○ Do not wear glasses. If you normally wear them, you must be able to participate without glasses and still comfortably complete the tasks. Contact lenses are allowed.

    ○ Not have significant medical conditions

    ○ Not have vision impairments such as amblyopia or alignment abnormalities.

    ○ Be available for multiple sessions over the course of a month and a half
