Program eligibility:

Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a US institution of higher education. ("currently enrolled" shall mean enrolled on Feb. 16, 2024.)

Target audience:

The summer school is intended for highly motivated, advanced undergraduate students (typically juniors / seniors) with an interest in mathematical modeling, numerical analysis and scientific computation.

Students should be comfortable with calculus, linear algebra, (ordinary) differential equations, and the basic usage of a programming language such as Matlab, Python, or C/C++. We expect the completion of at least one (advanced undergraduate) course in mathematical modeling, numerical methods, or partial differential equations.

Application material:

To apply to the summer school you will need to submit (through the application portal):
  • a resumé
  • a short statement of purpose
  • an unofficial transcript
  • contact information for a letter of reference
