Hello! I'm Katelyn.
My name is Katelyn Clark, & I am a junior computing student with a concentration in computer graphics and a passion for (minor in) graphic design. I enjoy both front & back-end web development, game design, and software engineering. My studies in both the Texas A&M College of Engineering and College of Visualization have given me a unique skillset as well as a strong adaptability. During my college career, I've been able to take courses in machine learning, computer graphics, computer architecture & organization, data structures & algorithms, program design, database systems, & discrete structures in computing. From my coursework, I feel confident in my abilities in C/C++, Java, Python, & HTML/CSS. I've also had education in Adobe software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, & XD.
Extracirriculars I'm involved in include Alpha Omega Epsilon, & the CSCE Peer Teacher program. I have been a member of the A.O.E. Beta Omega Chapter since Fall 2021, & during my candidacy period that Fall I planned a professional development event, a philanthropy event, & a large donation to the Chapter. Since then, I have served as Director of Technology, Corresponding Secretary Committee Head, & am currently serving on the Executive Board as Secretary. I have been part of the Peer Teacher team for about a year now, & have peer taught three sections of CSCE 120 (Introduction to Program Design & Concepts), & one section of CSCE 312 (Computer Organization). Along with my lab hours, I also host office hours & run the weekly review for CSCE 312. Before being a PT, I was a TA for the College of Engineering for one year, where I helped teach an introductory Python course, graded student work, & proctored exams. These experiences have been incredibly rewarding, & I'm so grateful to be part of other students' learning experience.
Thank you so much for visiting my website! I can't wait to share my experiences with you. Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn.
