Ryan Mohammadian

About me

Ryan Mohammadian is a sophomore at Texas A&M University studying computer science. Having gone to a very competitive high school for math in Sugar Land, Texas, he has always had a passion for mathematics. During his senior year of high school, he had been told by friends and family that he would make a great engineer but was unsure if it was the right fit. Ultimately, he chose to be a Statistics major at Texas A&M University. However, he had to take a computer science class his first semester as a part of the Statistics track and fell in love. Since then, he changed his major to computer science and has been working hard to become a software engineer!

Team Experiences

Ryan loves working with a team and has lead many teams to success! In his high school years, he was very involved in the Clements High School Band & Guard program. Playing percussion was his escape from all the stresses of school and he practiced around two and a half hours a day. Once he got to his junior year of high school, he became the captain of the drumline. His senior year, the state competition took place and he led our drumline to the state contest, where the top 40 schools in the state compete. The following semester, he was the leader of the entire Indoor Percussion group, leading them to become the state champions.
